Haunted Mansion CAD Floorplan

I made this as a final assignment in my AutoCAD class. We were told to create a design of our choice, but it had to be accurate with dimensions to the original item. I have always loved the story behind the design and creation of Disney’s Haunted Mansion, so what better excuse to do something with my favorite Disney attraction! I found a simple layout of the ride online, but to get accurate measurements and scale for the dimensioning I actually visited the ride and took a picture of my sister in the entranceway door with her arms outstretched. I then measured the length of my sister’s pose and used that measurement to figure out how big the doorway was. That gave me the accurate dimension and scaling to base the rest of the drawing from.
