Monsters Inc. Door Mechanism CAD Drawing

I made this as a final assignment in my AutoCAD class II. We were once again told to create a design of our choice, but it had to have an additional exploded viewports to show further detail at different scales. My favorite part of Monsters Inc. was the mehcnaical door mechanism that would allow monsters into our world to collect our scream energy. I had a small detailed collector’s model of this same door mechanism that I used to measure for scale and dimensions as well as both of the movies. I went back and referenced the some of the original companion books (The Monsters Inc. Employee Manual and The Monsters inc. Visual Dictionary) as well during my research to make sure I understood the nature and lore behind the design and to make sure it was accurate!
